The tower of this castle-like villa was once used as defence against Saracen invasions, but now this vantage point on the Tuscan coast is all about the views to the horizon. A path leads from the ancient stone terrace to a secluded swimming pool by the sea and following stone steps down the cliffside sees you at the water’s edge. Bedrooms are split between the main villa, watchtower and a separate annexe and the view from the myriad living rooms is just as good inside as out. This is the perfect spot for a celebration and your hosts are happy to help you arrange something special on the sprawling lawn. Location-wise, it’s just 5km from Albinia and 15km from Orbetello.

This home consists of a main villa, a separate tower and an annexe.
For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here.
The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st June and 30th September.
The swimming pool sits on a terrace overlooking the sea, a short walk along a path from the villa.
If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
The nearest town is 5km away, so having a car is recommended and there is parking available.
