With its subtle Cycladic interior and gorgeous private pool, it's no wonder this home in northern Crete caught our eye. Although you've got a few hotplates, there's no kitchen. Luckily, breakfast is included here. The nearest restaurants are a bit of a trek – the nearest is 3.5km away – so you'll probably want to rent a car. We didn't mind the location, though – the beach is just a short stroll, and the area is quiet. That said, when you want to explore, you'll find museums and historic sites nearby.

The swimming pool is only available for use between 2nd April and 1st November. Although it is private, it is overlooked by other apartments.
Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.
