Vetted by our experts

A functional home in the centre of Faro, this apartment is a suitable base for families who need a few home comforts while travelling. The balcony and French doors mean you get plenty of sunlight here, although there isn't much of a view. Inside, the interior is homely if unspectacular – but having two bathrooms is a blessing when you're getting ready in the morning, and the fully equipped kitchenette means you don't always need to eat out. That said, being in the centre of town here, you've got fantastic eateries just a few streets over.

Peace of mind guaranteed with every booking.

We promise expert-vetted homes, total transparency and exceptional service.

Home truths

Your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same.

This home overlooks other apartment buildings, so the views aren't the most inspiring.

Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.

There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home, which is on the second floor of an apartment building with a shared entrance.

The balcony is narrow and a little cluttered with furniture in parts.

About Algarve

With more than 300 days of sunshine per year and over 100 beaches dotted along its coastline, the Algarve is one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations. The party scene is alive and kicking around the capital, Faro, Albufeira, and Praia da Rocha should you want it, but there’s so much more to this sun-baked corner of Portugal than the high-rise resorts of the coast’s centre. This is a region...
