Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

A ten-minute drive from the buzz of Brighton, this pretty cottage sits in the village of Ditchling. Cosy country pubs and shops are within walking distance and walking trails lead through nature reserves just beyond. The home is a picture of bucolic charm with a private garden out the back for drinks on the patio – perhaps a glass of fizz from one of the nearby vineyards. Inside, the ground-floor living area is open and bright and there’s a gas stove for chilly evenings. Both bedrooms are upstairs, and the old staircase is not suitable for young children.

About Hove

Brighton's more laid-back sibling, upmarket Hove, is known more for its Regency architecture, stylish mews and stunning mansions than its close neighbour's hedonism. Colourful beach huts line its stretch of pebble beach, and the seafront is backed by Western Lawns with its skatepark and small lagoon. Enjoy a craft beer at one of the area’s stylish pubs or do some people-watching in the array of cafes. The family-friendly Hove Museum...
