Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Torquay is one of England's most stunning seaside retreats, and it would be a shame to stay anywhere without a full view of its sandy beach. This sleek, modern home offers lovely vistas of the palm-tree-lined promenade out front and easy access to various restaurants, cafes, and shops that line the waterfront. So whether you're here to swim, tan, or simply admire the scenery – this location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. When you're not out and about, the interior is an immaculate and cosy space that's a pleasure to relax in. There are plenty of entertainment options in the living room for when you have some downtime, while there's also a well-equipped kitchen for when culinary inspiration strikes. We couldn't help but notice that there's a generous amount of storage space in this home, which is excellent news for those packing for all weathers (always a good idea at the UK seaside) or intending to stay a little longer. Devon's south coast is dotted with picturesque fishing ports and estuary-side towns. You'll find the likes of Dartmouth, Teignmouth and Exmouth within a twenty-to-forty-five-minute drive. Alternatively, explore the rugged beauty of Dartmoor – its south-eastern edge is a little over fourteen miles away.

Torquay has a long creative history, with Agatha Christie born in the town and Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s former home visible on Vaughan Parade. The once-frequented Pavilion Theatre still stands, and while it no longer houses shows, its manicured gardens feature the town’s recognisable Big Wheel and the Princess Theatre, where West End plays are performed each year. Known as the English Riviera, the town has something of a microclimate and...
