Fresh from featuring in the pages of 'Country Homes and Interior' magazine, this impressive Georgian former farmhouse is living proof of how a home can be both luxurious and rustic in character. Period features remain, such as the wooden ceiling beams and the original window shutters, but they've been supplemented with all the modern conveniences you could want. Outside, this means a hot tub, charcoal barbecue and an alfresco dining area, all surrounded by two acres of private grounds. Just next to the house is a former barn that now functions as a games room with pool, table tennis and foosball, but could just as easily be a workout or yoga space. Inside the main property, guests will find a country-style kitchen complete with an Aga, a wood-burning stove in the living room and a huge wooden dining table for gathering everybody around. Exploring surrounding Wiltshire is easy, with Buscot Park just over twenty minutes away in the car and the edge of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty reachable in seventeen. The nearest village is Kempsford, which is a half-hour walk away and has both a rare book shop and a country pub.
