Beautifully updated without losing any of its original charm, this 1930s bungalow offers the perfect escape for both newcomers and long-time visitors to San Diego. The home's eclectic design comprises retro statement pieces and contemporary furnishings to create a characterful yet totally relaxing space. There's also plenty of outdoor space, and thanks to comfortable seating, festoon lighting and a fire pit, it's the perfect place to sit back and relax at the end of a busy day. After all, you'll be staying in vibrant Little Italy. This hip neighbourhood has excellent transport links, is conveniently located just a short drive from San Diego Airport, and benefits from boutique clothing stores, excellent restaurants and charming piazzas. If you fancy a trip to the beach, there are lots in the area, with most just a short drive away. To escape the crowds, head north to the likes of Black's Beach, a few miles past La Jolla, or continue towards Solana Beach and Encinitas for a more secluded stretch of sand.
