Spread over four floors, this striking converted water mill dates back to the 1800s. We guarantee you’ll be knocked out by the fabulous views of the canal, water meadows and fishing pond below. This home has post-industrial charm in spades, its original beams and ironworks contrasting with sleek modern furnishings. With super king beds and en-suite bathrooms, this home has vast space for families and friends seeking a unique getaway. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too. There’s a gas barbecue outside for those balmy summer evenings. Or, on those cooler nights, light up the woodburner and pour yourself a glass of Norfolk Mead. It’s the perfect location for hiking, cycling, pony trekking, or kayaking on the canal – or to explore the fabulous north Norfolk coast, your starting spot at Mundesley five miles away. To the south is Happisburgh beach, with its iconic red and white lighthouse, and Horsey beach, home to a seal colony.

Home truths
Mobile signal can be patchy in this area, so we wouldn't recommend this home if you're planning to work from here
This home is spread across four floors, so less able guests are likely to struggle as the living area is on the second floor
The bedroom on the second floor doesn’t have an en-suite bathroom, but the TV and Xbox should still make it a winner with someone
You're welcome to bring along up to two pets
The mill is located on the outskirts of a hamlet, so we'd recommend stocking up on any food shopping before you arrive. A car is recommended, with driveway parking for three vehicles
The shower pressure is on the lower side and could be stronger
