With tranquil views of the Apennine mountains from the garden’s shady seating area, we doubt you’ll even want to leave the grounds – but if you do, you’ll find Portofino, Pisa, and Florence all within driving distance. Unwind by the pool during the day and cosy up around the fire pit come evening, or curl up with a book in one of the bright living areas. If you find yourself a little too relaxed, you can always get the adrenaline pumping with nearby activities such as paragliding over the Cinque Terre, rock climbing at Via Ferrata, rafting and hiking.
