You’d be forgiven for thinking you’re somewhere in the Cotswolds when you arrive at this stately Hamptons home. Inside, you'll find a balance of antique trinkets and contemporary furnishings, the lofty ceilings adding a touch of English grandeur and lavender-coloured accents hinting at what’s to come outside. The open rooms and multi-level living spaces are well suited to large groups, but our favourite area of this home is outside. There may not be silver bells or cockleshells, but instead, you have manicured lawns, towering trees, a jewel of a swimming pool and lavender scenting the air, as if you'd stepped into a Claude Monet. When you finally decide to leave the confines of your very own secret garden, it's only a short bicycle ride down to the soft sandy beach or a quick walk to the boutiques, museums and restaurants of Southampton.
