From the winding streets to the antique shops, this home is in the perfect position for exploring Dartmouth. Set on a row of traditional cottages, the plot pays homage to the area's history with a seafaring theme. Take the bedrooms, for example, with their sailing-inspired wallpaper and white walls punctuated with blue lampshades and curtains. The kitchen is equally as coastal as sky blues and creams collide, and a wooden table provides the perfect setting for breakfast. The town is on your doorstep, whether you choose to jump on a ferry or follow one of the hiking trails. If the weather isn't cooperating, we love the alcove seating next to one of the sash windows for curling up with a book. The lounge has a regal feel – in part due to the antique rug and large brass clock – light the wood-burning stove to add atmosphere on cold days.
