This sweet stone-built cottage in the heart of the Cornish countryside is the perfect rural retreat for two. It’s a new home in an old outbuilding and the exposed wood beams and natural stone walls give it a touch of rustic charm; yet, the open-plan living space and stylish furniture are more modern apartment than country cottage. The feature fireplace will make sure you feel cosy on winter nights. And outside from the patio, there’s nothing but bucolic countryside views of Bodmin. The quiet, private garden is a glorious place to relax at the end of a busy day exploring. With a car, you’re twenty-five minutes from the town of Wadebridge and thirty minutes from the coast. With a bike, you can explore the countryside and coast on the nearby Camel Trail, which starts about three miles away at Wenfordbridge.
