Rising out of the hillside in the southern part of the island, you'll find this picturesque villa standing tall in the cloudless cerulean sky. Inside, soothing greys come together with colourful pops of blue, green and pink, creating a sanctuary of calm – and each bedroom has its own set of glass doors that frame the sunny vistas beyond and lead to one of the four (yes, four) balcony or terrace areas. We'd recommend claiming dibs on the bedroom on the upper floor if you can – extending towards the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea, the views from here are not to be missed. Elsewhere in the home, you'll find an open-concept living space that has been designed with family feasts in mind, plus a cosy corner to crash out in after a long day in the heat. And then there's the sun-drenched swimming pool, surrounded by loungers that invite you to kick back and relax, whatever the time of day. Round off the night with barbecue on the expansive stone terrace – it'd be rude not to sample some traditional Greek souvlaki while you're here. If you'd rather leave the cooking to someone else, though, the village of Keri is only ten minutes away by car and has plenty of clifftop taverns where you can grab a bite to eat as the sun goes down.
