A hilltop perch with the ocean in the distance; it doesn’t get much better than this Pacific Palisades home. Rooms are beautifully styled – think crisp colours, natural wood floors and simple, elegant furnishings. Minimalism is the watchword inside, letting the panoramic view of the Pacific speak for itself through floor-to-ceiling windows. The U-shaped sofa is pristine white, and big enough for the whole family (and then some) and a long, Scandi-chic dining table sits in the light of a sea view window. Drift on through to the terrace where a sleek swimming pool sits in the wooden decking, overlooking the Pacific. Our favourite spot to admire the view is on one of the loungers or soaking in the pool’s Jacuzzi. Pacific Palisades is a peaceful neighbourhood with walking trails for those who love the outdoors, and it’s just a fifteen-minute drive to the buzzing Santa Monica beach and pier. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.
