Nestled in the heart of Chipping Norton, this traditional terraced cottage radiates Cotswolds charm. Stone fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, winding staircases – it's brimming with character inside and out. Our favourite spot is the split-level garden, where you can relax with a cup of coffee on sunny mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings, or relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring the countryside. Whimsical is the best way to describe it – vines and flowers climb the stone walls while pebble pathways lead to hidden patios tucked away behind verdant plants. Laze on the hammock with a good book, fire up the grill for a summer barbecue and gather around the fire pit when the sun goes down. We love the interior, too – warm, inviting and snug, the sitting room is ideal for chilled evenings at home. Rustle up a meal in the country-style kitchen – best shared around the rustic dining table – before nodding off in the comfortable bedrooms. Chipping Norton is a bustling market town with an array of pubs, restaurants and independent shops all just a short walk away. Whether you drive into town or catch the train into nearby Kingham, this spot is ideal for exploring the postcard-perfect Cotswolds villages.
