Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Standing outside the period building in central Milan that this apartment sits within, you might imagine the home's interior to be similarly imbued with heritage. However, that's not the case. Head behind the front door and you'll find a modern interior, rich with bold colours and contemporary fittings. The woven beanbag chairs in the living room are perfectly quirky, as is the arching light fixture in the dining area. The kitchen is on the simpler side, but we're willing to forgive that due to the sleek turquoise finish and complementary grey splashback. The address benefits from a private balcony so you can make the most of bursts of sunny weather without leaving the home. When you want to see a little more of Milan, Chinatown sits quite literally on your doorstep and Sempione Park takes less than ten minutes to reach on foot.

About Chinatown

Milan’s mainly pedestrianised Chinatown is the oldest and biggest Chinese district in Italy. The first settlements date back to the 1920s, when the first Chinese from the Zhejiang region (near Shanghai ) travelled to Milan to work in the silk industry, increasingly expanding their presence throughout the decades. Milan’s Chinatown might not have a typical access arch like the Chinatowns of London or in Paris, but it shares a lot of what those ones have - great food and lanterns galore! It's also an easy walk to the historical centre - only 20 minutes to Brera, for example.
