Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
In former times, this gorgeous 18th-century building was home to a fashion magazine. So, naturally, the flat is decorated in an Art Deco-style, combining original features, vibrant furnishings and a side of mid-century influence to create a sumptuous apartment that welcomes you to unwind and explore the city in style. Fully restored by a renowned team of designers, you'll immediately notice the chic touch that's been given to the living room – from the forest-green sofa to the low-hanging lights, bold prints and bright palette. Grab a bottle out of the wine fridge in the marble kitchen and enjoy it on the small terrace, or sneak off for a catnap in the 60s-style bedroom with colourful wallpaper patterns and bedside lighting. We love how all the traditional character has been retained – most notably the exposed stone walls, wood floors and grand staircase. Natural light floods in through the balcony doors throughout the day, while the sky-high ceilings add an incredible sense of openness to the living space. While you could easily spend an entire day soaking up the vintage design and airy atmosphere of your apartment, we recommend exploring the surrounding area. Right in the heart of the city, there are restaurants, boutiques and hidden wine bars all around. Plus, you're a seven-minute stroll from Livraria Lello and an eight-minute walk from Igreja do Carmo, while the beautiful waterfront along Cais da Ribeira is just seventeen minutes on foot from your ever-stylish pad.
