For a couple or solo traveller looking to get under the skin of the Unesco-listed city of Porto, this central studio is the perfect solution. Step inside, and you'll find a multi-purpose living space set up with everything you need to make the most of your stay and nothing you don't. Gorgeous wooden floorboards lead your eye towards a pair of French doors at the end of the living space, which lead out onto a balcony with far-reaching views over the terracotta-tiled rooftops towards the city's beautiful cathedral and the imposing Clérigos tower. Elsewhere, an indulgent velvet double bed, a glass-topped dining table and a well-equipped kitchenette complete the fully functional open-plan studio space, with a white and wood shower room adjacent. You'd be hard-pushed to find a better location to explore the city, with the aforementioned Sé do Porto and Clérigos Tower, plus the pastel-hued homes of Cais da Ribeira and the grand Palácio da Bolsa, all within a kilometre of the apartment.
