Inspired by Cornwall's aviation history, this sleek flat is the perfect spot for your Cornish adventure to take flight. Set in a Garde II-listed building, the hosts have effortlessly combined contemporary design with Truro's sense of heritage. We love the quirky, flight-related decorations – antique flags hang in the bedroom, pilot posters adorn the hallway walls – and the supremely comfortable bed and squishy leather sofa are just the ticket after a long day on your feet. Home chefs can rustle up delicious treats in the elegant blue kitchen, which has everything you'll need to cook up a storm. The best part, in our opinion, is the large private balcony. It's sheltered from the elements, meaning you can dine alfresco, relax with a glass of wine and soak up the Cornish breeze no matter the weather. We also adore the location. Right in the centre of Truro's historic streets, you've got a wealth of dining and shopping options practically on your doorstep. Between browsing the local art galleries, touring the famous Truro Cathedral and wandering the cobbled Georgian lanes, you'll never run out of things to do. For a change of scenery, take a cruise down the River Truro, wander along... the riverside paths towards pretty Malpas and St Clement, or hop in the car and drive twenty minutes to Perranporth Beach.
