For a cosy home-from-home experience in Switzerland, look no further. This sweet little studio apartment is just outside of Lugano, so you have gorgeous scenery right on your doorstep. The apartment is bright and comfortable. There’s a kitchenette and a dining table, so you can easily whip up quick meals if you don’t fancy eating out. Though with the food being so heavily influenced by nearby Italy, you’ll surely want to sample at least some of the local cuisine. Lugano is just nineteen minutes away by car. Known as the Monte Carlo of Switzerland, Lugano boasts incredible views and a laid-back vibe – perfect for a holiday. You’ll probably spend most of your time on the shores of the glacial lake, stopping for coffee or enjoying alfresco meals while taking in the scenery. Riding the funicular railway is a great way to spend an afternoon, and the views are amazing. For a day at the beach, drive just ten minutes to the grassy Lido San Domenico. Laze in the sunshine on the lake’s shore, sip chilled drinks, and feel your worries melt away.
