In the stunning Water Mill, surrounded by manicured lawns and a private nature reserve, sits a charming country estate. This historic hamlet boasts a quintessential English heritage, and this manor evokes the elegant essence of such history. Country homes like this have a transcendent relationship with nature, and with a mirage of glass panes, this home effortlessly invites the outside in. Accompanied by antique tiles and wooden flooring imported from France, the large rooms are adorned with marble mantels, grand fireplaces and ornate furnishings that invite you to take a turn about the room. The sitting room day bed is the perfect place to settle with your new spring read, or, if you’re feeling more active, sport a game or two of ping pong in your drawing-room. Set about a few lengths in the pool then settle under the porch for tea, whilst admiring the grounds. This countryside compound is in the perfect spot for leisurely walks while opportunities for golfing, horseriding and polo are all within a ten-minute drive. A wealth of boutiques, boulangeries and seafood restaurants are nearby in the beautiful Bridgehampton or spend the day wine tasting at Channing Daughters which can be reached by car in just seven minutes.
