Located in the Hamptons' best-kept secret, Springs, this mid-century abode offers a coastal retreat from its unique position surrounded by trees. With full-length windows overlooking the verdant woodland, you can relax into the mid-century seating, fire up the stove and sink into a peaceful state of mind. Each sun-filled room has been minimally decorated with well-chosen antique furniture, leaving the light and space as the take-away features. If you're staying in the summer, make use of the private pool. Keen swimmers will have a choice between this and the sea – there are plenty of spectacular sandy beaches nearby. The hamlet of Springs is also known for its budding art scene, with a selection of contemporary galleries to check out while you're in the area. Travelling by car? Make the twenty-minute trip to neighbouring Montauk, where buzzy bars and fine dining establishments await.
