Winter sports enthusiasts and snow bunnies will love this traditionally-styled chalet in France’s Rhone Alps. It’s 1.5 kilometres from the ski lift up to La Chapelle d'Abondance where there are ski runs for all levels and pistes for snowboarders too. In summer, you can hit the Alpine hiking trails, mountain bike trails and bridlepaths in the area, awash with wildflowers and greenery. Guests here can enjoy access to top-notch facilities within the holiday complex as well. There’s an indoor pool if you want to get some laps in, a fitness centre and a spa to unwind in after a day on the slopes. A ski room is onsite to store your equipment. The apartment itself is a vision of Alpine wood, sitting against the rugged mountains like a typically idyllic chalet. From the comfy living room, glass doors fold back to the private patio – the perfect spot for a post-hiking cold drink in the summer months. The view from the dining table on the patio is simply stunning. Bedrooms follow the Alpine theme with raw wood accents and the master has direct access to the garden.
