Part of an exclusive complex just off the main route between sophisticated Megève and the village of Praz-sur-Arly, this smart apartment offers a superb level of comfort along with an enviable mountain view. With all the independence of a self-contained home but some of the extra amenities you'd expect in a hotel, it strikes a great compromise between the two. The chances are you're here for the excellent skiing and you won't be disappointed, with the nearest ski lifts just a ten-minute shuttle ride away – but there are plenty of others within an easy drive. Best of all, this home has access to a shared sauna and hammam in the building, so you can rest your aching limbs after skiing and freshen up before an evening out. The vibrant town centre, around the same distance, is packed with stylish restaurants and bars, and there's great shopping to be had too. In the summer months, it's all about the scenic mountain walks and enjoying the sunshine in one of the town's lively squares.
