A contemporary home with a seventies soul, this house just fifteen minutes from Venice Beach presents a stylish space to kick back in between exploring the sights of both Los Angeles and Santa Monica. Mid-century furnishings and bohemian designs are featured in an open plan layout, creating a sociable and stylish main living area and kitchen that overlooks the gorgeous garden. It's this leafy green setting that we particularly love about this home, where you'll find citrus trees, a swaying hammock and a laid-back lounge area – perfect for chilling out with a glass of Californian wine in hand. With a barbecue, fire pit and ping pong table to enjoy, you could easily spend long summer evenings in this haven of peace. If you do feel like venturing out, drive down to Venice beach to catch the sunset and a bite to eat, or better still, why not explore Santa Monica on two wheels? There's plenty of bike storage space if you decide to rent or bring your own bikes here.
