Set slap-bang in the middle of Reading, this slick, serviced apartment is a no-brainer if you’re after a base in the city. With just a five-minute stroll, you can be beside the Kennet River for a morning jog or grabbing a bite to eat at one of its bustling restaurants. Left something behind? Never fear. There’s an M&S food hall and John Lewis, just a ten-minute jaunt over the river to pick up supplies. And arriving into the city is a cinch, too, with an allocated private parking space on the gated complex ready and waiting for you. Or the train station is just a twelve-minute walk, making trips to London or Oxford a piece of cake. Back at home, the designers got things spot on with soft terracotta tones, rustic elements, and an array of house plants creating a restful retreat. Newly renovated throughout, it's easy to see why guests rave about the immaculate interiors. Crash out onto the squishy sofa for cosy movie evenings – there’s Netflix at the ready. The dining table can easily double as a handy working space if you plan to work during your stay. While over in the bedroom, there’s one big hug of a king-sized bed waiting for you to dive right in.
