Set along a quiet cobbled road in the middle of the Zeeland countryside, this beautiful barn conversion offers a tranquil setting and far-reaching views over nearby fields – it makes for a fantastic family getaway. Original features and modern design come together to create a contemporary yet characterful space that's purpose-built for socialising. Several sliding doors provide access out onto the patio, which offers comfortable seating options where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine. Beyond the fenced section of the lawn, you'll find a shared space with football goals and a trampoline so you can let the kids run free, while you get on with the important task of relaxing. Head upstairs and uncover four bedrooms, all with twin beds that can be moved together to create king-size doubles – offering fantastic flexibility. Exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and illuminating skylights provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a sense of space. Just a few kilometres away, Vrouwenpolder is a family-friendly resort that's right on the beach. The sand stretches as far as the eye can see in both directions, meaning it's easy enough to find a section to call your own. Alternatively, head to one of the restaurants set overlooking the sea and let the kids loose in the playground. For a spot of culture, the scenic city of Middelburg is just a fifteen-minute drive away. Here, in the regional capital, we'd recommend wandering the spectacular streets, enjoying some scenic cycling through its parks, and stopping by its manor houses.
