Inscribed as a World Heritage Site since 2001, the Jurassic Coast is known for a breathtaking stretch of coastline that connects Exmouth to Dorset. Apart from the superior beaches dotted along the way, there are also plenty of rocky formations, like the Durdle Door, that make exploring it well worth the trip. Drive to Lyme Regis in just under thirty minutes and you’ll see what we mean – if you happen to visit during the Fossil Festival in April, you can stick around to see the coast's most famous fossils. When you’re not at the beach, admiring the coast, or exploring the historic market town of Bridport, you’ll find yourself testing out every nook of this home until you’ve found your favourite spot. Believe us, there are many to choose from in this unique home. Having lived its former life as a mill, you can still see many of the original features around the conversion, but it’s these industrial elements mixed in with the more modern furnishings that make this home as charming as it is. The kitchen bench is a favourite of ours and we can see ourselves easily spending long hours deep in conversation here. Enjoy coffee after coffee long after you’ve finished breakfast, simply basking in the ambience of the home. The small breakout room with the beanbags will quickly become a favourite with the kids as they can watch movies or play up there whilst the grownups get cosy in the lounge. With ample light, finding a spot to read in shouldn't prove too difficult, but we recommend the chair right in the corner of the living room. Eat, drink, and be merry and when you return here after a long day away, know that this home is more than happy for you to just put your feet up and take a well-deserved break.

About The Jurassic Coast
Before the kids get too excited – no, you will not see any dinosaurs here. The real powerful ruler of this kingdom is the sea. Over millions of years, this mighty force has shaped and carved the area into striking cliffs and coves. The imposing coastline, with its stacked rocks and arches, is a pilgrimage for geologists. When these sapphire shores crashed against the limestone of the coast, the arched...

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
