Restored with the utmost love and painstaking attention to detail over the last couple of years, this spectacular Victorian home has been brought back to life for your enjoyment and ultimate seaside relaxation. Climb the steps to the front and make your way inside to discover a combination of stunning original features and contemporary style that blend seamlessly to create an irresistible offering. On the ground floor, the impeccably styled living room offers a comfortable space to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Sliding pocket doors mean that the room can be divided in two if you want to create separation between the spaces. With the doors closed the smaller sitting room doubles as a separate home office or a fifth bedroom with a comfy double sofa-bed. Elsewhere, the kitchen has been conceived with conviviality in mind. An elegant designer dining table can comfortably accommodate the whole group, while the breakfast bar makes for a pleasant place to perch as you help with (or watch) whatever's going on in the kitchen. In addition, at one end you benefit from easy access to the street, perfect for unloading supplies, while at the other, French doors lead out to a charming courtyard garden with beautiful wooden bench seating. The bedrooms certainly live up to the very high standards set by the entrance level. You'll find four guest rooms split across the first and second floors, each designed with your comfort in mind. The two bedrooms on the front side of the house enjoy south-facing views over the local park, while the others look out over neighbouring rooftops towards the city skyline. A beautiful home is nothing without a location to match. Your privileged position across the road from the Plymouth Hoe places you within easy reach of one of the most picturesque spots in the city. Climb up the iconic 72 foot-high Smeaton’s Tower and take in breathtaking views across the Plymouth Sound, Drake’s Island and River Tamar. Spend afternoons lazing by the seafront or go for a stroll on the beloved promenade, perfect for a spot of rollerblading or skating. When the weather is right, why not go for a swim in the family-friendly Art Deco Tinside Lido, voted one of the 10 best outdoor pools in Europe, just an eight-minute walk away? Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, go for an open water swim in the Sound – we hear the designated swimming area in front of the Terrace Café is the best spot, and conveniently placed for a post-swim beverage.
