Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
There are few homes in our collection that achieve the balance between opulence and comfort quite as beautifully as this one. Located in London’s privileged Sloane Square neighbourhood, this wonderfully curated apartment is a perfect reflection of its swish locale. A veritable carousel of eye-catching ornaments, your eyes will pinball in every direction trying to take in every stunning inch of this home in all its luxurious glory. From the 24-gold plated crown moulding to the Swarovski crystal Bohemian chandeliers, the Versailles parquet oak wood floor and 18th-century art and antiques, this home’s interiors are worth writing home about – which you can do at the bedroom’s Bonheur Du Jour bureau. While we could marvel endlessly at the dining table with its original Regency-era chairs, swoon over the Bluetooth sound system and peruse the original European artworks for hours on end, if we were pressed to choose our favourite feature, it would have to be the bathroom. Far from just a standard powder room, this immaculately designed space has been decked out in French wallpaper from Zuber, antique Belgian shelves from the 1500s and the most enchanting clawfoot tub we’ve ever seen. What’s more, there’s also a rainfall shower decorated in hand-painted Portuguese tiles, gold-plated Lefroy Brooks fixtures and stained glass dating back to the 1870s. In short, a room for pure pampering. And while we doubt you’d ever want to tear yourself away from your singularly lavish abode, we encourage you to do so if only to enjoy the communal residents' garden – a leafy space perfect for picnics and shaded reading on balmy afternoons. While you’re outside, venture a short way to discover the famous King’s Road a three-minute walk from your door, Harrods a fifteen-minute stroll and South Kensington’s world-class museums twenty-four minutes away on foot.
