With a showstopper roof terrace, this standout, pastel-painted home in a gated street is a real find. The terrace is perfect for alfresco meals and sundowners. It's reached from the top floor loft space, equipped with its own kitchenette, so there's no need to head downstairs for snacks. We love the cool industrial aesthetic of the main living space with its exposed brick walls, whitewashed beams, architectural floating staircases and oodles of glass and chrome, as well as the avant-garde artwork adorning the walls. Have a soak in the freestanding bath, or get ready for a busy day in London in the stylish shower room with its terrazzo tiles. Situated in Archway, there's an array of restaurants and pubs nearby. In fact, one of London's best old English gastropubs is just minutes away, and there's a Saturday market in the locale too, as well as excellent bus links into Central London. Upper Holloway underground station is a five-minute walk, while Archway is ten minutes on foot. Highgate Cemetery is on your doorstep, too, and is the resting place for famous names such as the novelist George Eliot.

About Tufnell Park

Tufnell Park has experienced a renaissance of sorts in recent years – once a nondescript area wedged between Islington and Kentish Town, a wave of independent shops and buzzy eateries has swept through the now-trendy Fortess Road. This breath of fresh air has awarded the area a newly glowing reputation, becoming popular for its affordable pubs, one-off retailers and light-filled yoga studios. The Irish-run Boston Arms is a particularly well-loved...
