Get the adrenaline pumping in the gym, followed by a dip in the communal pool – there’s no better way to prepare for a day of exploring the Portuguese coastline. Head back to the villa to cook breakfast and step onto the private balcony to truly enjoy views of the bay and Atlantic ocean. If the scenery has left you wanting more, we’d recommend renting a car and driving to the beaches of Lagos and Praia da Luz – think fine golden sands and calm blue ocean. Pick up some local seafood to throw on the barbecue when you return – there’s nothing like an alfresco dinner to end a day of beach hopping. Don’t feel like cooking?
