Situated within a former Methodist chapel, this marvellous mezzanine apartment is perfect for a solo sojourn or a couples' getaway to the charming Cotswold market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. Perhaps one of the region's best-known and most picturesque towns, this home places you right at its centre, close to traditional tea rooms, treasure-filled antique shops and within a short stroll of its bustling market square. Beyond the honey-hued buildings, you're excellently located to explore the enchanting countryside. The area around the town is particularly beautiful and well worth taking it slow and exploring on foot. A particular standout is a two-to-three-hour walk to Bourton-on-the-Water, taking in quaint Cotswold villages and a nature reserve along the route. Look no further than Cotswold Farm Park for a family-friendly day out before stocking up on organic produce at Daylesford Farm. Back at home, make a fresh coffee and sit on the sofa while you flick through the provided magazines or turn on the TV for a streaming session (though you'll need to provide your login details). Feeling peckish? The well-equipped kitchen contains everything you need for a self-sufficient stay, though with a welcoming pub just across the street and Michelin-starred establishments within driving distance, it might not see much use.
