This home offers it all – character, class and cosiness. Beautifully refurbished to restore all the traditional features yet modernised to add a little luxurious touch, this charming cottage is ideal for a family. You’re reminded you’re in a period property through the lavish exposed beams, stone mullion windows and inglenook fireplace – it’s the perfect retreat after a fun-filled day exploring the quaint countryside that surrounds you. Picture yourself in the evenings with the wood burner crackling, casting an amber glow into the room as you indulge in a warming glass of red and enjoy a peaceful night with your loved ones. The sitting room is generous and stylish, with neutrals complemented with delicate pastel pinks. When your eyes start to feel heavy and sleep is calling, head to one of the three bedrooms which are just as tasteful as the rest of the home. Comfortable beds, olive panelling and the same cream base colour provide a sense of calm throughout. Our favourite spot is the freestanding bath – a lovely luxury to be enjoyed to set you up for the day ahead. When the sun rises, pour yourself a mug of traditional English tea and listen to the sound of nature from your private terrace. This family stay is guaranteed to be unforgettable, the ideal backdrop to reconnecting with loved ones and nature.
