Located on a hillside in the beautiful village of Calheta, surrounded by banana plantations and vineyards, this charming villa offers panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean. Boasting a spacious terrace, you'll have your own private haven from which to soak up the Madeiran sun. Spend serene mornings swimming in the pool and relaxing on a sun lounger with a cup of coffee, or have a few laughs over a game of ping pong before heading out to explore. Calheta's main resort is within easy distance, which offers a man-made (and the only) sandy beach on the island. Sunbathe, swim and hit one of the nearby restaurants for a leisurely lunch. If you're keen to visit natural beauty spots, the Levada walks offer spectacular scenery, passing majestic mountains and tinkling waterfalls. When you return home, fire up the built-in barbecue and grill some local seafood. Dine alfresco on the terrace and soak up the spectacular scenery, before retiring to the hot tub to watch the sunset with a glass of wine.
