Set upon a hilltop, this traditional stone farmhouse boasts 180-degree views of the village of Matraia below and, further, the coastal city of Lucca. Built during the 14th century, it pairs historical features with the luxuries of modern living. Inside a converted hayloft you’ll find the private gym – perfect for getting your adrenaline pumping. If you’d rather exercise in the great outdoors, the Tuscan countryside is at your doorstep. Connected to the sitting room upstairs is the billiard table, where you can nurture your competitive side with a round of pool with friends and family. Stargazers can make use of the home’s telescope, but we recommend taking a nighttime soak in the Jacuzzi and looking at the starry views above, or below at the twinkling lights of the city. Whatever your wish, this charming farmhouse offers a true taste of Tuscany.
