Surrounded by Lefkada's olive trees, lush forests and rocky terrain, this villa has a perfect position high up in the hills. From this vantage point, views of the Ionian are a given – and if you're anything like us, you'll be keen to spend all day and all night making the most of the scenery. How could you not, with Vlycho Bay and the islands of Scorpios, Meganisi and Atokos glistening on the horizon? Enjoy relaxing afternoons poolside, flitting between dips in the pool, cocktails on the lounge chairs, and naps in the hammock. Come suppertime, fire up the built-in barbecue and dine alfresco on classic Grecian fare, the setting sun and sparkling sea creating the perfect backdrop. Five minutes away by car is the charming port town of Nydri, one of the busiest on the island's east coast. Here, you can hop on a boat tour, walk to the Nydri Waterfalls or sample the local cuisine at the beachfront bars and restaurants. Nydri Beach is 4 kilometres away, but for even more postcard-worthy beaches, head west to Pefkoulia or Egremni Beach – both reachable in an hour's drive.
