Surrounded by mountains and the glistening blue of the Ionian Sea, this villa reminds you of the beauty of nature at every turn. Situated in the village of Mantxavinata, the home itself is charming in its simplicity. Infused with natural light and offering a neutral palette, it doesn’t try to distract from the picture-perfect views outdoors. Sunny days can be spent poolside, soaking up the rays or splashing about in the private pool. If you’re an early riser, enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace as the sun rises above the sea – don’t worry if you can’t drag yourself out of bed in time, the sunset views are just as sensational. Indulge in an alfresco meal before settling down with a bottle of Mantzavino wine (produced in the village) and watch as the sky transitions through pink and amber hues and the sun sinks into the horizon. It’s absolutely magical. Locally, we’d recommend a visit to nearby Xi beach when you long to sink your feet into the sand, and for meals out, head to Lixouri to sample some moussaka, washed down with a little ouzo, naturally.
