Ex-council homes in London tend to be plain and pedestrian – but not this flat. Refurbished by interior designer Sirin, it screams sophistication. There’s designer furniture sourced from auctions and antique shops, lovely wooden floors and quirky style touches like one bedroom’s square-panel drawers. And there’s the luxurious kitchen, with its wine cooler and Nespresso machine. Throw in a location close to South Kensington’s famed museums, Harrods and swanky King’s Road, and this sumptuous base will suit both families or friends.
