Have you ever booked a holiday home with great reviews and found yourself disappointed? Us too.

That is why the Plum Guide doesn’t operate a traditional review system. Instead we test every one of our homes obsessively against 150 criteria. Only 1 in 100 homes we test, is accepted. This is one of them.

This home has been accepted because it:

  • Received 5 exceptional customer reviews
  • Passed all 150 criteria of our in-person hospitality test
  • Has 3 “super powers”: 3 unique things that make it a truly amazing stay
  • Received a unanimous "In" vote by the Plum Hospitality Judges
  • Received top marks from every Plum Guide guest, since being listed with us

"This will always be one of the most memorable houses I have tested, it’s a proper mansion and a master class in interior design. The quality, the beauty and the consistency of the furniture throughout are truly remarkable. It’s Grand and Classic, but it’s also very family orientated and family friendly. Even though all rooms consistently have design four post beds and ensuite each one of them has its own personality. It has its own driveway and an enormous garden, a large reception room, a beautiful library and a large kitchen/living area to socialise and to entertain. The bedrooms are kept media free for truthful resting and reading from the hammocks in the balcony is strongly recommended. I really liked the library and my favourite space was the ensuite to the master bedroom, a remarkable large space featuring a very large dressing/closet area leading into a bright bathroom with a free standing tub and a shower room, it was perfect.
