Curated experiences by your host: where to eat, shop and relax round your home

Galvanised by great cafes, restaurants and posh organic markets, Fulham is a tidy and pristine neighbourhood situated around lush green spaces full of soul.

Shop The King's Road

If shopping is your main obsession, then this is the road for you. Wide array of boutique, high street and eclectic design stores along with trendy cafes and restaurants.

Eat Healthy At Manuka Kitchen

No freezers present in this kitchen, all produce is delivered daily from Dorset making sure you only eat the freshest of the fresh. Head downstairs to the secret gin bar.

Drinks At Tommy Tucker

Tucked away from the main road, Tommy Tucker is the local's best kept secret. When the sun shines, the side terrace is gorgeous, but that’s rare in London. So best to snuggle up inside.

Lunch At The Troubador

This place is legendary in Fulham. It’s a pub, with great food and music nights. There’s also upstairs, which is a gallery and events space. Stop by and catch a pop up gallery.

Dinner At Claude's Kitchen

This eatery sits directly above Amuse Bouche. The menu changes weekly and is put together by chef Claude Compton who trained at Club Gascon. That’s fancy by the way.

Posh Pub Lunch at The Harwood Arms

The first British pub to be awarded a Michelin star. This is a laid back gastropub with beautiful decor serving a modern British menu. Have the doughnuts with fig jam, ginger sauce.

Wander Through The Natural History Museum

If you’re in London with the kids, this is an absolute no brainer. The world's most prestigious and pre-eminent museum of natural history, exhibiting a vast range of specimens.

Visit Brompton Cemetery

One of London’s Magnificent 7 cemeteries, is a magical place, combining historic monuments, trees and wildlife with the stories of the remarkable people buried here.

A Charming Italian Dinner At Sal e Pepe

Book yourself a table here and meet the exceptional host Toni, you’ll never forget his friendly and charming character. This is an incredibly atmospheric trattoria in Chelsea.

Walk Along Chelsea Embankment

With a view of Albert Bridge, the gorgeous, artist and poet filled houses of Cheyne Walk and the houseboats moored up, Chelsea Embankment is littered with West London charm.

Coffee at Shot Espresso

Blending Italian coffee mastery with hipster Australian coffee shop scene, this little place also offers all you can eat canapes for £3. That’s pretty good value if you’re hungry.

Eat Vegan at 222 Veggie Vega

An entirely vegan restaurant with a very fresh and healthy looking decor. They do a lunch time all you can eat buffet. Definitely no MSG here.

The Lows

  • This apartment is directly opposite a school. At 3pm there will be a lot of action in front of the house with parents picking up kids from school. Similarly at 8.30am.
  • If you want a library of books and magazines to browse through, there aren’t so many here. You’ll have to make do with the few coffee table books and TV for light entertainment.

Guests stayed here and loved it

Have you ever booked a holiday home with great reviews and found yourself disappointed? Us too.

That is why the Plum Guide doesn’t operate a traditional review system. Instead we test every one of our homes obsessively against 150 criteria. Only 1 in 100 homes we test, is accepted. This is one of them.

This home has been accepted because it:

  • Received 15+ exceptional customer reviews
  • Passed all 150 criteria of our in-person hospitality test
  • Has 3 “super powers”: 3 unique things that make it a truly amazing stay
  • Received a unanimous "In" vote by the Plum Hospitality Judges
  • Received top marks from every Plum Guide guest, since being listed with us

"The quality of fit and finish in this home is absolutely second to none. This gorgeous Fulham family home has kept a very traditional and industrial feel to it whilst adding some minimalistic touches from Scandinavia. The best part about it is the open plan living area and kitchen with the bi-fold doors opening up onto the patio. You can't beat the fresh breeze flowing through in the summertime. Located in very residential Fulham, you'll live the local life here and feel part of the community."
