Soft colours anchor Centurion Flax’s interior – a savvy decision that prevents anything from overshadowing the beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. As a whole, it’s a relaxing, grown-up place, never brash, and with an air of quality to the furniture and fittings. There’s also a small balcony, looking out onto Via Palermo, but it’s too small to spend a lot of time outside. Besides, there are so many interesting bars and cafes around that if you were after aperitivo or breakfast, you aren’t short of options.
