When it comes to locations, they don't get much better than this. In a delightful neighbourhood, with plenty of great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, this bright and modern apartment is a ten-minute stroll from the beach and close to the popular Rothschild Boulevard. Set in a beautiful, historic building, it's been recently modernised to create a fabulous place to stay. Inside, you'll find double-height ceilings and a wall of windows with views across the rooftops. All-white walls and wood floors make for a cool, relaxing atmosphere, and the furnishings are contemporary and comfortable. The kitchen isn't huge but it's perfectly equipped for cooking light meals at home on the rare occasions you're in for the evening. Steps lead up to a mezzanine level where you'll find the bedroom, while extra guests can sleep on the sofa bed.

There aren't currently any bedside reading lights – bookworms beware
There is a lift, but you will still have to climb a few steps to reach the front door (and there are internal stairs to the bedroom)
As it's on a mezzanine, the bedroom is open to the living space – although there is a curtain for privacy
There's a cot and high chair if you're travelling with little ones
You may want to bring along things like shampoo, soap, cooking oils etc – it does slightly lack in basic supplies sometimes
Two guests can sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge

About Kerem Hateimanim
Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
