Tucked away in Twickenham, this comfortable flat offers proximity to London from a more relaxed residential setting. Spread across the first floor of the building, the home features a bright and inviting living room with a dining table set against its large windows, with a fully equipped kitchen hidden away around the corner. There's one bedroom available with an unorthodox sleeping arrangement, in that a full complement of three guests will be spread across a king size bed and a single in the corner. Despite being some distance from a tube stop, the neighbourhood of St Margarets is leafy with plenty of charm, with a train from the eponymous nearby station bringing you to Waterloo in half an hour.

The Regent View

It’s all about the location at this swish apartment in Shepherd’s Bush. Goldhawk Road underground station is an easy walk away, whisking you into the centre of London in a matter of minutes. Sticking around to explore the neighbourhood, you’ll find ample green space and pretty high streets lined with cosy pubs. Part of a set of serviced apartments, you won’t find homely bric-a-brac or odds and ends filling the surfaces, rather a sleek, open-plan living room and a full kitchen for self-catering. Plus two comfy bedrooms.

The Royal Academy

This West London apartment has everything you could need for a breezy city stay. The open-plan design works perfectly for couples and solo travellers in search of a simple and refreshing base. There’s also a handy sofa bed for one guest and you’ll find a welcome pack prepared for your arrival. Private parking is available for one car and there are great public transport links with the nearest bus and tube stations just minutes away. You can stroll to the River Thames and it’s just a short drive to Kew Gardens and Chiswick. 

Honest Living 

Located in Richmond upon Thames, one of London's most attractive boroughs, this home has a fabulous address. Keen gardeners will love it here – the house is just a three-minute stroll to the Lion Gate, one of the entrances to Kew Gardens. If that wasn't enough, your lovely hosts provide four free tickets to the gardens, and this membership also gives you 10% off the shop there. There are plenty of chic boutiques, restaurants and bars on your doorstep to sample. Or, go for a walk along Richmond Riverside and explore Richmond Park. You can reach Central London in thirty minutes by Tube or train too. 

Back at this home, enjoy a cup of tea in the garden with its pretty flower borders, or relax on the sofa in the living room and pick a book from the shelf. We love the French doors, which allow light to flood in, as well as the neutral hues enlivened by pops of blue and green. Later, rustle up a salmon tray bake in the modern and stylish kitchen with its navy blue units (there's a blender, food processor and juicer). There's a handy office space here, too, if you want to catch up on work. To top it all off, this place has private parking to boot.



Kew Gardens Retreat

Close to upmarket Kensington and bohemian Notting Hill is the charming area of Brook Green. Known for its village atmosphere, period architecture and excellent transport links (Hammersmith, Goldhawk Road and Shepherds Bush stations are all within walking distance), this pocket of West London suits families, business travellers and those craving a quieter neighbourhood. Yet it's still close to excellent restaurants, cosy gastropubs, green spaces and plenty of shopping, with Westfield London (fifteen-minute stroll), Kensington High Street (twenty-minute walk) and Holland Park (thirty minutes on foot) all just a stone's throw away. This bright apartment in a picturesque mansion is the perfect place to rest your feet and recharge after a long day exploring. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up a meal, while the cosy living area has a comfortable sofa, Freeview channels and DVD player for chilled nights at home. There's also a desk if you need to do some remote working, though we'd probably get distracted watching the world pass by outside the window. But our favourite feature is the sumptuous rolltop bath. We can't think of a better way to end the day than with a glass of wine, a good book and a relaxing soak. Pure bliss.

The Wandering Scholar

Set on a residential street in Richmond, there’s plenty of space for six people to spread out in this three-storey home. While it’s situated on the Heathrow flight path, plane noise will blend into the background as you enjoy all this home has to offer. The kitchen, conservatory and generous garden caught our eye – just the spot to spend time with the family. Locally, it’s a five-minute walk to the river or eight minutes on foot to Kew Gardens, where you’ll also find the nearest tube station for jaunts further afield.

Perfect for Kew

Whether you’re heading to London for a sightseeing adventure or a productive work trip, this apartment makes it easy to enjoy it all. Tucked in the heart of St Margarets village, it’s just a short walk to the river and you’ll find a great selection of restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. It’s also just a short stroll to the nearest train station – connecting you with central London in just twenty-five minutes. And when it comes to respite and relaxation, this home offers a cosy city sanctuary. The layout is simple, minimal and perfect for couples or solo travellers in search of a fuss-free stay. 


Always Home 

Sleek and modern, this apartment is a great fit for families or small groups of friends in search of a city bolthole. Slide across the bi-folding doors and open up the living area to your private outside space, creating the perfect layout for socialising. You'll find everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a bright desk space for working remotely. It's worth noting that the twin single beds can be converted into a super-king-sized bed upon request. The home is also short on wardrobe space, so pack light. Location-wise, you're less than a twenty-five-minute walk from Westfield Shopping Centre, while the Stamford Brook Tube station lies just thirteen minutes away on foot. 

Black Jack

Barnes is one of London's most coveted neighbourhoods and it's homes like this that show you why. The Georgian townhouse is one of the oldest in Barnes Village — named as such since the area is bordered on three sides by the River Thames and parkland on the final side — although the interior is as modern as they come. Downstairs, the teal walls and dark brown floorboards make for an opulent canvas against which the varied artwork collection, marble kitchen surfaces and patterned ottoman stand out. As well as an additional living room geared towards movie nights, guests will also find a small patio filled with plants at the back of the property and a balcony with a view of the river. As well as sitting on a high street with plenty of shops and cafes, the Thames Path can be reached in just two minutes if you fancy a stroll, while the London Wetland Centre is just a fifteen-minute walk away also. The bright lights of Central London take just twenty minutes to get to on the train, too.

Green Parakeets

Nestled in the heart of Kew, this bright flat is a ten-minute walk from the famous Kew Garden and mere steps from excellent cafes, pubs and eateries. Anthophiles, amateur botanists and keen horticulturists will love this flowery locale, but even if you don't have a green thumb, this village-like neighbourhood is sure to impress. Hop on the District Line or Overground at Kew Gardens Station (a five-minute walk) and you'll be in lively Richmond in minutes. Or, if you're in the mood to relax, pour yourself a glass of wine and lounge on the private balcony. Filled with potted plants and overlooking the idyllic street, it's a sweet spot to bask in the sunshine while enjoying cocktails and good company. Why not fire up the charcoal barbecue for an alfresco meal as the sun goes down? Inside is just as lovely – each room is brimming with natural light, thanks to the big windows, and traditional features like original hardwood floors. The design is minimal and simple, yet it still feels cosy. Whether you're unwinding with a book in the living area, soaking in the pastel bathtub or nodding off in the three comfortable bedrooms, you're sure to feel right at home here.

This is a four-bedroom home like no other with its vast collection of art that will inspire the artist in you. Enviably located in tranquil Richmond, next to the wonderful park, you will even be able to purchase a painting if the fancy takes you.

The House of Art

Located in leafy Kew, this elegant maisonette is an oasis of calm away from the big smoke. Set on the first and second floor of an Edwardian house, each room is decorated with a modern British feel. The cosy living room is set around an ornate fireplace and is the perfect place to curl up with a book. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up home meals, which on sunny days can be enjoyed at the little round table in your private garden. Skylights fill the main bedroom with light, and the pale colour palette lends a serenity to the room. This house would be the perfect couples’ getaway, and you can even squeeze in some work in the office. If you are more than two people, the office can be turned into a second bedroom. 

Kew is a neighbourhood that feels like the countryside, while still being within easy reach of central London. Walk twelve minutes to Kew Gardens, where you’ll find acres of gorgeous greenery, and a large glass conservatory home to a wide array of tropical plants. Richmond Park is a twenty minute walk away, with its vast expanses of rugged grasslands home to free roaming red deer. There is a supermarket round the corner from the house as well as independent cafes and laidback restaurants. When you’re ready to take on the city, stroll to the tube station down the road and reach central London in thirty-five minutes on the District Line.
