The King of Shoreditch, London
ALASTAIR
Born in Malaysia, Alastair, an actor hit the screens
when he starred as Colin Frazer in BBC’s Doctor Who.
He made several more appearances on screen in shows
such as Grange Hill, Casualty and Skins. He’s most
know for his role as Tommy Stone in Velvet Goldmine.
He developed a passion for design, artistry, collectables
whilst travelling the world and experiencing the creative
side of new cultural experiences. But not always pieces
you would consider as everyday pieces. Pieces that were
unique to the surroundings of his home at the time.
These pieces eventually had time and a perfect place to
be curated in a 3000sq ft warehouse apartment in
Shoreditch. Everything from original signed prints from
Andy Warhol, personalised notes from Gary Oldman to
original Papa Bear chairs made by Hans Wegner and
the absolute obscure.
His favourite piece being the Paco Rabanne Screen
hanging above the second bedroom bedhead.
You could say Alastair’s space is nothing short of
spectacular and it conveys his personality through and
through which has been influenced by the creative
surroundings that Shoreditch and the rest of the world
has had on him. He desperately wants you to enjoy
his apartment as much as he has throughout the years.
Stay in his apartment and be sure to welcomed with
warmth and a personal tour of his great treasures.
