Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Compact but cosy, this central apartment is a great base for exploring Lisbon. The balcony is a sweet bonus – not to mention the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastel de nata before setting off. Since it's on the third floor without a lift, this home won't suit guests who struggle with stairs. One bedroom is smaller than the other – it's a good option for kids – and the kitchen lacks an oven, so dining out will likely be on the cards. Even so, you've got a wealth of options nearby, plus you're walking distance from attractions like Praça do Comércio (twenty minutes away), Santa Justa Lift (fifteen minutes) and the Tram 28.

Home truths

This apartment is on the third floor without a lift. The stairs are steep and won't suit guests with limited mobility or heavy luggage.

You won't find an oven here – but there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better for prepping lighter bites than large meals.

The kitchen and balcony are slightly dated and could do with a refresh. You may also spot a few small signs of wear and tear throughout the home.

Parking in Lisbon can be tricky and the street outside is inaccessible by car. We recommend using public transport or exploring on foot.

Although this home has self-check-in, you'll need to pick up the keys from the host's office.

Given the central spot, expect to hear some noise.

About Saldanha

Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay. The traffic connections are fast and abundant, meaning most parts of Central Lisbon are only a short train ride away.
