Set in the heart of an exotic animal sanctuary, this cosy barn conversion is the perfect retreat for lovers of the outdoors. An exceptional cottage that promises a one-of-a-kind experience with total privacy from the outside world and rare peace. Surrounded by remarkable creatures and 360 panoramic countryside views, guests can enjoy a private hot-tub, outdoor shared pool, landscaped gardens and African hut for wildlife viewing. From the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner you can enjoy the views from the large windows that back onto the Animal Sanctuary. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals, with indoor and outdoor dining area to really soak in the magical setting. Step into the bedroom which showcases a king-size four-poster bed dressed in an eclectic style that perfectly complements its exotic surroundings. There is an ensuite shower room with a large powerful shower, WC and basin. Step out onto your private balcony with seating and barbecue. Feast from high on the animal rescue centre where you are in prime position to watch donkeys, emus and alpaca frolicking along the hillside, wild deer herds in the woods and a host of exotic animals living out their lives safe and enriched. Better than a movie! Enjoy a private hot tub offering... magical valley view's overlooking the Capybaras swimming pool. Perfectly positioned for a sunset or twilight dip among the stars. Guests can enjoy the shared grounds with outdoor pool which is available between 30th April and 30th September and solar heated during July and August. As darkness falls, your transported to a magical solar light experience, hundreds of solar lanterns come to life, a perfect backdrop to the Owls hooting, the Lynx calling to each other and Honey Bears chattering. As well as being a wonderful holiday destination, the owner operates a private animal rescue sanctuary, which is BIAZA accredited. Although the rescue centre is not open for viewing, guests will not be disappointed, as a fascinating array of 200 exotic and farm animals wander the fields across 35 different species. Be enchanted by Capybara frolicking in their own swimming pools, Meerkats taking turns at look out duty, Mountain Lions playing chase in the cool of the evening, Lemurs leaping branch to branch and Monkeys being just little Monkeys! The income from the holiday cottages is invested into feed, medicines, vet support, enclosures, and enrichment.
