In the residential Arjan district, this functional flat is ideal if you want a peaceful base within reach of Dubai's bustling centre – we think it's perfect for business travellers or a couple seeking a quiet break. With nothing in the way of a view, we don't think you'll be using the balcony here, though the French doors ensure plenty of sunlight at least. The communal pool will be a pleasant distraction on those lazy days, while the host can help organise tours if you want to explore a fuss-free way to explore the city.
