With far-reaching views over the Bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius, this family-sized villa outside Sorrento is a dreamy escape indeed. The closest beach is a 5-kilometre drive away, but spending days by the poolside and taking in views is what it’s all about. Patios, balconies and terraces are home to sun loungers and shaded dining areas that make the most of the scenery. Inside, you’ve got two kitchens to choose from – one in sleek chrome professionalism and the other with a rustic wood-fired grill and pizza oven. The traditional-style decor won’t be for all tastes, but the bedrooms are plenty big, there are multiple living areas to choose from, and the views are breathtaking. That ticks all our boxes.

The swimming pool is only available to use between the beginning of May and the end of October. It's unfenced, so little ones will need to be watched at all times.
