Escape to this rustic stable retreat, high on the Kent Downs within the grounds of an 18th-century farmhouse. Fringing the village of Hastingleigh, besides a walkable local pub, there’s little else here – just how countryside hideaways should be. Spend your days exploring the acres of land with free-roaming wildlife. Or relax in the shared courtyard and wider gardens, featuring a sports field, swings and trampoline to keep little ones busy. After a little more bustle? The historic village of Wye is just an eight-minute drive away. And there’s always the coast. Get off to a flying start in Whitstable – a scenic forty-five-minute drive away.
